Our lovely Dunlop Snugboots have been put through their paces in quite a variety of places this last year – from tree planting to the stage! Versatility and comfort are key factors in wearing them all day, combined with snug warmth, breathability, outstanding support and reliable grip underfoot.
At the Camping and Caravanning Club’s National Feast of Lanterns, Julia Bradbury was here, there and everywhere, clocking up the miles as she chatted to Club members and shared their love of life outdoors.
Her Snugboots had already had a thorough test as she wore them through the winter when out walking and playing in the rain with her children. They were much admired by campers who have had a trying time with wet weather this year!
Held in Chatsworth Park in the heart of the Peak District in Derbyshire, Chatsworth Country Fair is one of England’s most spectacular annual outdoor events. Julia was invited to host the event and The Outdoor Guide had a stand to spread the word on making the most of life outdoors. With over 70000 visitors this year, Julia and TOG were busy throughout!
As Julia explored the show ground, busy with everything from book signing at the TOG stand to getting involved in the pony scurry, it was just as well that she had her Snugboots with her. After all, it is a country show.
At Harrogate Countryside Live, held on the Great Yorkshire Showground, Snugboots took to the stage as Julia and her good friend Amanda Owen, the Yorkshire Shepherdess, entertained the crowds with tales of their extraordinary lives. With thousands of visitors and hundreds of animals at the fair, it made sense to keep the Snugboots on as the pace was hectic, especially at the TOG stand.
In Tree Awareness Week, Julia took the lead at the tree planting in Derbyshire that marked the first stage of the development of the Young People’s Forest by the Woodland Trust, supported by Premier Paper Group. Dozens of volunteers joined her in planting thousands of mixed native broadleaved saplings.
