It’s that time of year when many of us would be thinking about our next camping adventure. It’s estimated that around 1.2 million people go camping each year in the UK. The reasons given for the love of camping are vast and wide – from the therapeutic qualities of fresh air and being close to nature, to time away from the internet and screen time. A poll made by the Camping and Caravanning Club  (2017) discovered that 77% of campers said that its affordability makes camping a great way to spend quality time with people that matter most.

Julia  was made the first female President of the Camping and Caravanning Club and was their natural choice due to her passion for the great outdoors. As president, one of her missions is to encourage people to experience camping for the first time and to engage families in the fun of camping.
