Waterproofs Wellies Songbook

Waterproofs & Wellies – Assembly Songs

We’ve joined forces with The Outdoor Guide Foundation to raise awareness of their brilliant ‘Waterproofs & Wellies’ Project. Not all children have the same opportunities as others to get outside in the UK and explore all that the natural world has to offer, so we are getting involved to help raise funds to buy waterproofs and welly kits for schools most in need. This new songpack, all about getting outside whatever the weather, is just £2 to download, every penny of which will be donated to the Waterproofs & Wellies campaign. The School Musicals Company will also match that amount with our own donation.

Julia Bradbury’s Railway Walks Book

THE six walks featured in the book follow the old tracks, overgrown cuttings and ancient viaducts which are the legacy of ‘The Beeching Axe’.

Following the enormously popular ‘Wainwright Walks’, Countryfile presenter Julia Bradbury looks at how the rise and fall of the railways has altered the lives of communities across the country.

Today, many of the thousands of old branch lines which were closed in the 1960s are now the treasured stomping grounds of ramblers and hikers.
