Hello Toggers!

Grounding goodness
I am a nature addict. I crave time spent in the great outdoors and I make no secret of it! It’s more than just a desire to be outside – I have a need for it. Actually we all do. Earthing (sometimes also called Grounding) is the oldest conductive therapy of all time. More than that, it’s 100% natural and more accessible than anything modern science could come up with today.
It’s more than just being outside, it’s about having direct physical contact with the earth. It’s like plugging in to one huge natural docking station where we can get ourselves back in sync with the natural rhythms of Mother Nature. You could walk barefoot, swim in an open body of water or, one of my favourite things, hug a tree. At this time of year, with the inclement weather that it brings, it can be challenging to want to have that physical contact with the earth … but if you read on you’ll discover another way you can also earth yourself!
January is typically a month when people start planning their holidays. If you’re looking for inspiration, from 29th January to 1st February London Olympia will be host to the Destinations Travel Show. I’m going to be there on Friday 30th January to talk about my adventures across the globe. On Thursday 29th January my good friend and TOG Foundation Ambassador, Gemma Hunt will be there on the TOG stand. If you’d like to come too – keep reading as we have a special FREE ticket offer for you.
Embracing the sea air
This week we’re heading up to the Northumberland coast for our walk which takes us from Alnmouth to Warkworth. For anyone wanting to feel the bare earth under their feet – a beach is a great place to do that no matter what the time of year. This is also a great walk for the birdwatchers amongst you – with the skies full of the sound of the numerous sea birds that can be found here.
Embrace the Earthing Revolution
We’re very excited to welcome Earthing Revolution to the TOG family. What began as a personal journey for founder Jen, has now grown to be a leading player in supporting others experience the healing benefits of earthing. Their range of products, including mattress covers, mats and flip flops offer ways in which everyone can earth in the comfort of their own home.
Four Things For You
This week take some time to pause out in nature, touch the earth and feel that connection with Mother Nature and ground yourself!
