Hello Toggers!
The Wonders of the Frozen South
Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments from those of you who saw the first episode of my new series, Julia Bradbury’s Wonders of the Frozen South that started last Sunday on ITV. I still have to pinch myself that I had the opportunity to make this series. To be in the vast wilderness of Antarctica is truly humbling and the memories will stay with me for a lifetime. If you missed episode one – you can catch up now on the ITV player.
The blast of Arctic air that’s hit much of the UK this week has made me feel at times like I am back in the frozen south again. As the old adage says – there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes. If you’re need of the right gear for colder and wetter climes – read on!
The heights of the South East
If there was one thing I missed seeing in Antarctica – it was the ability to hug a tree. That’s why this week I’m headed to Leith Hill in Surrey for this wonderful woodland walk. The Leith Hill Tower is the highest point in South East England and offers amazing views out across the surrounding countryside.
