If you’re looking for peace, quiet and wonderful views teamed with walking and cycling, Bakewell Club campsite is for you. Its idyllic location near the pretty village of Youlgreave in the Peak District National Park offers a true back to nature camping experience. Campers report that the site’s minimum facilities are part of its appeal.
Bakewell campsite enjoys a peaceful, rural setting with stunning views over the Derbyshire countryside. The attractive site is excellently maintained and its 100 pitches are spacious, some benefit from the shelter of trees which dot the site. There’s also a small dog walk and a children’s play area.
The mountains, rivers, lakes and amazing scenery of Snowdonia National Park surround our Bala Site. Just a few miles north of the lake after which it is named is Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, is at the heart of the National Park.
Bala campsite is the ideal base for exploring the attractions of north Wales including the Llangollen Canal.
The Crown’s bar is a warm and inviting area with a roaring wood-burner for people to relax and warm themselves on the coldest of days.
Stocked with a wide range of local ales, premium spirits and a large selection of international wines.
The retreat provided for guests offers free hot drinks & cordial, with cake served at teatime for you to help yourself to! We also have plenty of board games for those rainy days or if you fancy a change of pace.
Film Club
Our great little film club shows movies three times day, completely free of charge for our hotel guests!
You don’t need a ticket & seating isn’t reserved, all you need to do is come along in time for the showing.
Showings are at 3 pm, 6 pm & 9 pm, & feel free to bring along snacks or a drink from your room or Bareca.

Beachmaster: our apex mission timing watch. 4 years in the making and so original its design and functionality was granted a patent.
Initially imagined in response to a request at a Royal Marines event then refined into the most capable watch we have ever put our name to.
As a nod to its inception via the Royal Marines, we christened it Beachmaster: the Beachmaster is the military officer in charge of the disembarkation phase during an amphibious assault.

Each is equipped with a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and uniquely and individually decorated to create a warm and welcoming home-from-home atmosphere.
